My upbringing mirrors that of countless children in Haiti. Raised without a father figure, my mother endured years of abuse from my father. Education posed a formidable hurdle, particularly in a country where more than 80% of schools are privately funded. In a nation where nearly 59% of the population lives below the poverty line, education remains a privilege beyond the reach of many families. Undeterred, my mother took on the role of a market vendor to finance my kindergarten and first-grade education.
In 2010, our country was devastated by a tragic earthquake. Before the earthquake, my mother had started working as a cook for a non-profit organization called Christian Light School Ministrieshttps://www.christianlighthaiti.org
After the disaster, we lost our home, and my mother and I began sleeping on the organization’s campus.
This period marked a turning point in our lives. We found refuge and hope at the Christian Light Children's Home.
After a while, God called Ms. Hasson to help with the home, which evolved into REV HOME under the Global Partners organization
https://linktr.ee/globalpartners In Creole, "REV" means dream, and Ms. Hasson, along with her partners, dedicated themselves to taking care of us as if we were their children. They provided us with a home and education and later established a coffee shop named ( Rev Cafe) that helped finance our college education. I had the opportunity to work there while pursuing my studies.
I have committed my life to advancing education and creating meaningful opportunities for others. In 2022, I was inspired to act on a profound calling—one that went beyond individual assistance to address a larger vision: restoring hope and opportunity to the children of Haiti. Many of these children face immense challenges and are unaware of their right to education, love, and the ability to dream of a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
At the age of 21, I founded Grace for Haiti’s Children to translate this vision into action. The organization is a testament to my gratitude for God’s guidance in my life and my belief in the transformative power of collective efforts to uplift children in need.
Our mission is reflected in the slogan, "One Child at a Time, to Empower Haiti’s Future." This guiding principle is rooted in my own experience as a child whose life was transformed by opportunity. Today, I am dedicated to creating the same possibilities for Haiti’s youth, empowering them to build a stronger, brighter future for themselves and their country. Together, we can ensure every child has the tools to succeed and the hope to dream beyond their circumstances.

The visa fee for all visitor types in Haiti is uniformly set at $185. Regardless of the purpose of the visit—whether for tourism or business—the cost remains the same. This fee is essential for securing legal entry and ensuring a smooth stay in the country.
Donating towards visa fees will enable our founder to continue her valuable work abroad.
As one of the primary funds supporting Grace for Haiti’s children, we acknowledge the rising challenges and costs associated with international travel. Due to the current circumstances in Haiti, flight expenses have increased significantly, now estimated at approximately $1,000.
Assisting her flight expenses provides significant support.
Following her experience as a camp counselor, our founder, who also serves as a speaker, is available to visit local churches and schools to share the story of Haiti's children and the impactful work of our organization. This includes presenting our mission and vision.
